Yes, most items will have a reserve price to ensure that the North Kansas City Business Council meets its goal of raising funds through this auction to support its mission of serving the North Kansas City business community.

Why do you ask for my credit card number to bid?

Adding a payment method is a crucial step in finalizing the registration process. This not only safeguards you as the bidder, but also provides protection to the North Kansas City Business Council against any potentially fraudulent activity.

How do I cancel my bid?

Bidding on an item is a binding contract, and it's important to remember that you cannot cancel once the bid has been placed.

What is overtime bidding?

Overtime bidding is our way of preventing bid sniping (waiting until the last few seconds of an auction to make a winning bid) to provide a fair bidding experience for all auction participants. It adds an extra five minutes to the auction for any item you've bid on. A 60-second timer begins and resets with each new bid on that item. If the timer runs out, the auction closes for that specific item. Remember, this extension doesn't go beyond five minutes after the real-time auction ends. A banner will appear before overtime begins. App users can click on the banner for an explanation. Active bidders within five minutes of the item closing will be eligible to participate in overtime bidding.

Do I have to pay taxes on items I win?
